Elizabeth TCHOUNGUI meets the Orange Pulse community!

It is within the framework of a working visit to Cameroon that Elizabeth TCHOUNGUI was keen to exchange on Wednesday, 24th March 2021 with the young community of Orange Cameroon called Orange Pulse.

Elizabeth TCHOUNGUI, the current Executive Director of CSR, Diversity and Philanthropy of the Orange Group, is very keen on the socio-professional development of young people.

The interview took place in a relaxed atmosphere. Many of them were connected remotely via Skype and spread over the 10 regions of Cameroon; some were physically present at the Orange Digital Center located in Akwa Douala.

Most of their discussions focused on the professional career of this lady who has succeeded in imposing herself worldwide through her multiple hats as a journalist, writer, and key player in social development. If there is one quality that we recognise in the young people of the Orange Pulse community, it is their willingness to develop their skills and to have a positive impact on the youth in Cameroon.

In her speech, Elizabeth TCHOUNGUI gave them tips and advice based on her own experience to prepare them for the employment world. For her, one should not "be afraid to dream" and give oneself the maximum chances and opportunities that arise. You must get informed, set goals, create a network, work hard, persevere, cultivate your originality, have self-confidence and above all keep in mind that the paths to success are not always linear because everyone has to think and believe that their dream is achievable.

She did not fail to remind them that digitalization is essential nowadays, hence the importance of developing digital skills. Orange is aware of this and is committed to enriching the digital culture of young people and giving them the keys to a responsible digital world to develop their skills and promote their socio-professional integration.

You too can join the largest community of young people in Kamer at #119# and enjoy a variety of programmes and packages exclusive to members of the community.
