Is this how Maurice Kamto plans to protest against the Presidential Elections Results Proclamation today?

The self proclaimed winner of the October 7th Presidential Elections in Cameroon; Professor Maurice Kamto, is set to boycott the proclamation of Election results ceremony today.

According to the spokesman of his party; Angelbert Lebong Tatchoua, Maurice Kamto will be absent from the proclamation of Election results ceremony today at the Yaoundé Conference Center.

The last time Maurice Kamto was seen publicly, was when he defended himself before the Constitutional Council, with a multiple point petition that was eventually rejected.

His spokesman however did not say why he will be absent, but judging from his complains about election rigging and the rejection of his petition by the Constitutional Council, we suspect that his absence is an open act of protest in the form of boycott.
