Cameroonians protest in Germany as Constitutional Council set to proclaim Election results

Some Cameroonians have staged a protest on the streets of Germany to express their dissatisfaction at the Constitutional Council rulings that dismissed all petitions filed by opposition candidates for the annulment of the October 7 Presidential polls.

After dismissing all petitions filed by the opposition, it is highly expected that the Constitutional Council will proclaim Paul Biya winner of the October 7 polls on Monday, handing him another even-year mandate to extend his thirty-six-year stay in power.

This has caused some Cameroonians in the diaspora to launched a series of protests against the Council.

The protest in Germany follows that staged by some Cameroonians in the United States of America on Friday, calling on the Constitutional Council to cancel the election.
