    Presidential Candidates refuse to collect Campaign money because Government is offering them half of the stipulated budget!

    Yesterday, representatives of some Presidential Candidates went to the Ministry of Territorial Administration (MINAT) to collect the 30 Million Frs cash that Presidential candidates are entitled to, for them to use for Presidential Elections' Campaign.

    MINAT informed them that they would be given 15Million frs instead, and only candidates who will have over 5% votes after the elections, will receive the remaining 15 Million frs balance.

    Representatives of Maurice Kamto, Serge Matomba and Ndifor Frankline, refused to collect the 15 Million frs.

    Representatives of President Paul Biya, Joshua Osih and Cabral Librii, collected the 15 Million frs.

    Representatives of other candidates were not present.
