    CPDM North West elites raise 150m FCFA for Paul Biya’s campaign

    CPDM Elites of the North West Region of Cameroon,have raised the sum of over one hundred and fifty million francs Cfa to be used for the campaign of their presidential candidate Paul Biya, ahead of the 7 October 2018 Presidential election, Journal du Cameroun reports.

    Meeting at the conference hall of the Yaounde City Council on Saturday August 11, the elites raised a total of 154 589 000m FCFA with Baba Danpullo contributing the lion’s share of 30 million fcfa.

    The fund raising was chaired by the Prime Minister, Philemon Yang who is equally the head of Central Committee delegation to the North West Region.

    Speaking during the meeting, Prime Minister Philemon Yang said the CPDM North West elites are extraordinary people who do ordinary things in extraordinary ways.

    After raising the funds, the elites have set a meeting to plan the party’s campaign strategy in the North West region in the days ahead.
