    Moukandjo & Bassogog out of Seedorf’s first official Lions call-up

    Benjamin Moukandjo has been omitted in Clarence Seedorf’s first 23 Lions squad which will fly away to Comoros next month in a 2019 AFCON qualifiers.

    Moukandjo, who captained the Lions to victory in Gabon was named man of the match in the final as Cameroon won the Africa Cup of Nations for the fifth time.

    Christian Bassogog didn’t also make the list.
    Bassogog had a stellar Africa Cup of Nations 2017, scoring once en route to their victory, and was named as the Best Player at AFCON 2017.

    Other notable absentees include Marseille forward Clinton Njie, Adolphe Teikeu,  and Ndip Tambe. 

    Veteran goalkeeper Idris Carlos Kameni makes his comeback to the Lions den.
