    DO of Douala I, interrupts performance of Agatha Moses at Gospel Concert in Douala, Agatha Moses gets wounded!

    A Gospel Concert was organised over last weekend in Yaoundé and Douala. The theme of the concert was 'Peace in Cameroon through worship and praise.'

    The one in Yaoundé, which held on Saturday August 11th, went through without any glitches, but the one that held in Douala on Sunday August 12th, met a lot of controversy.

    According to reports, the organisers had obtained an authorization from the governor for the event to run through midnight, but some minutes after 6 PM, the DO of Douala I; Jean Marie Tchakui, stormed on the event ground alongside sone military people, went on stage, pushed down instruments, ripped off the Cameroon flag from the stage, destroyed equipment and instruments from the stage.

    All these was happening when Agatha Moses, a Nigerian Gospel artist was performing. She was opening for Nigerian Gospel artiste; Steve Crown.

    As the DO and the military were causing havoc on stage, Agatha Moses tried to leave and got wounded. According to eye witnesses, due to the injuries she sustained, she was limping to the car that transported her.

    According to reports, the DO interrupted the concert because according to him, it was supposed to end at 6PM. Meanwhile the organisers had obtained an authorisation for it to run through midnight.

    Even after the havoc; Steve Crown, took to the stage and ministered without instruments. He went ahead and performed eventhough equipments on stage had been shattered.
