During their third inspection mission to Cameroon, the experts from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) visited the Japoma Sports Complex, the Reunification Stadium and the Mbappe Leppe and Bonamoussadi training stadiums. They also visited hotels in the economic capital.

The CAF inspectors were informed that by November, these projects would have neared their completion with the Reunification stadium almost certain for a new face lift by October. At the 50.000 Japoma stadium, all the precast material are already available as the technicians have already began installing them.

The CAF delegation was told works on the various road networks will only start in October as a result of the heavy rains in Douala which has made it impossible to start the works earlier as initially scheduled.
