"Wax Dey is a culture vulture, I want to stop him from exploiting young talent. Let him free Realm Squad"- Nabil IV Real Fongod!

A couple of weeks ago; Wax Dey, via Lolhiphop Records, released a statement on Realm Squad, a group he signed to his label(Lolhiphop Records) in 2015, prohibiting them from releasing new music independently, until they pay a fee of 3 million Frs as per the exit clause of the contract they signed with Lolhiphop Records. Read all about it HERE.

Nabil Fongod aka Nabil IV Real, On Air Media Personality, producer of the first Anglophone Urban show on Radio, Urban Culture ambassador, with over 18 years experience in the Cameroon Urban Media, has decided to fight for Realm Squad.

Nabil told us that according to reports he has received from several stakeholders in the entertainment industry, Wax Dey has pending debts. He has had people work for him for an agreed remuneration and not pay them after.

The third season of his reality TV show; Number One Girl, whose season finale is today, has accrued such debts from the first season, but none of those whom he is oweing have prohibited him from running the show, so in Nabil's opinion, why is Wax Dey, prohibiting Realm Squad from releasing music because they owe him 3 million Frs?

Nabil took to his Facebook yesterday to call Wax Dey out, and he is calling on him to come over to his show; Nabstar Radio Show, on Friday July 20th, to defend himself.

Nonetheless, Nabil has taken up the challenge to stop Wax Dey from inhibiting the careers of Young Cameroonians. All the artistes Wax Dey has ever signed to his label; Realm Squad, Stanis, Roqzen, have left with controversy following their exit.

Nabil says Wax Dey is a culture vulture and as a culture ambassador, he wants to stop him from killing young talent.

Nabil also told us, that because of this, he is dedicating his show (Nabstar Radio Show), next Friday July 20th to educate young artistes on signing record deals with 'so called' Record labels. He would invite lawyers to explain the legal implications of clauses in record contracts, and how needful it is for young artistes to have access to them prior to signing.
