The publisher of KamerLink Magazine; Fon Felix, was a guest on our Tweet Chat and he revealed alot about the second edition of the Magazine, which is in stores right now.
When asked why he chose the name; KamerLink, he responded:
"I believe so much in collaboration and i noticed its exactly what Cameroonians lack. So i came up with KamerLink to get cameroonians to LinkUp with each other and grow together... Always been a fan of magazines and i think its the best way to put out information... "
On what inspired him to publish a magazine, he said:
"Its been a long borne passion and it came out at the right time. I have always wanted to have a platform where i can promote every young Cameroonian doing anything to put food on the table"
For aspiring entrepreneurs, he said:
"All it takes is to find a problem in the society and provide sustainable solutions then follow the goal relentlessly against all odds.
We have a country with too many resources. Find your passion and chase it relentlessly, making sure you are providing a sustainable solution to an existing problem..surround yourself with the right people."
Multiple Award winning Cameroonian artist, Mr Leo, graced the first edition of the magazine.
This second edition cover was graced by thriving Entrepreneurs; Roland Fomundam of Green House Ventures and Ngassa Nina of VW Catering & Events.
"This time we went for two young entrepreneurs because their stories inspired us and tied with the vision of the magazine. They are doing exactly what we are out to encourage so what bettr way than to use their stories.
The cover choice is basically dependent on the story we want to tell the public in every given edition. A story that enriches young Cameroonians to get to work and believe in their hustle"- he said.
On why you should read the KamerLink Magazine:
"We take out time to select the best, most educative, enriching, inspiring & entertaining content so its hard to make a pick. But i will recommend you keep an eye on the cover stories. A lot to learn from them."
