    The Government offers 5 billion FCFA to the University of Yaoundé II-Soa for its renovation!

    The University of Yaoundé II-Soa (UYII) is set to have a new face!

    The Ministry of the Economy, Planning and Spatial Planning (MINEPAT) has just granted the institution, in addition to its overall budget changes amounting to 9 billion FCFA, the sum 5 billion FCFA for its renovation.

    Beyond the validation of MINEPAT's investment support, the work also focused on the integration of the budget of the Institute of External Relations (IRIC), whose envelope amounts to one billion FCFA.

    The study of the remodeling budgets of the other faculties and institutions was not left out. According to Prof. Adolphe Minkoa, the Yaounde II-Soa campus, which has for some time been experiencing difficulties related to the redevelopment of water, electricity, academic infrastructure and lack of a library among others, receives a special endowment from the government.

    " We received from the government means to complete the library of 1000 equipped seats. And also, physically secure the area of ​​the university which is 1,312 hectares. We have also received something to make a number of improvements," said the rector. According to him, this library will be effective this year and it will be the largest library in Central Africa.
