    Peter Mafany Musonge promises to play role of mediator between the population of the SW and President Paul Biya!

    From Wednesday, April 25 until Friday, April 27, 2018, members of the National Commission for the Promotion of Bilingualism and Multiculturalism (NCPBM) under the leadership of their president, Peter Mafany Musonge, meet representatives of the various socio-professional sectors of the South West Region.

    From the outset, the President of the NCPBM explained that the operation called "the Watchtower" aims to collect proposals that can bring peace and consolidation of living together in this part of the country which has been in the grip of a serious socio-politico-security crisis since October 2016.

    Straightforward, each speaker aired their minds.

    "He has been told to go and tell the President of the Republic that he must take the low people into consideration. If that is the case, the whole thing will be effective ";

    "If there is a real decentralization with the establishment of Regional Councils, people in the bush will go out to make peace";

    "By putting an end to discrimination in the use of both official languages, French and English, the population here will calm down"

    Above are some points presented by the population of the SW to the NCPBM.

    The former Prime Minister, head of government who leads the NCPBM mission seemed satisfied with the freedom of speech.

    "They spoke everything they had in their hearts, they recognized the need for dialogue. I reassured them that all their grievances will be passed on to the President of the Republic, "- said Peter Mafany Musonge.
