The listeners of Radio Hot Cocoa (94 FM) emitting from Bamenda, the capital of the North-West region will no longer listen to the famous presenter; Peter Tabit Chi, before the next three months.
The famous host of the popular program in pidgin on this radio, which is the most followed in the city center of the Northwest and its surroundings was suspended by Peter Essoka, president of the National Council of Communication (NCC) .
The decision was taken by the head of the body responsible for regulating the media sector in Cameroon, during a meeting he held on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 in the premises of Radio Hot Cocoa with its staff.
According to sources on the spot, the boss of the NCC did not give any explanation to this decision. But the penalty seems to be related to the Anglophone crisis and the way Peter Tabit Chi talks about it on his program.
