    Vodacom explain airtime & data glitch

    Vodacom says all customers affected by on Monday night's billing error have now been reimbursed.
    Data and airtime belonging to prepaid and top-up customers were depleted for no reason due to technical problems with the network's billing process.

    Technicians worked through the night while customers vented their anger on social media. Vodacom's Byron Kennedy said: “We had technicians working to remedy the situation. In instances where airtime has been affected, people have been refunded. Where data bundles have been impacted, those have been reinstated and also refunding related the out-of-data bundles.”
