    Fako administrators call for spiritual cleansing at mile 29 Muyuka

    Administrative officials of Fako Division, South West Region of Cameroon have called for an Ecumenical and cleansing Service to be held at mile 29 Muyuka, a locality along the Buea-Muyuka highway where numerous accidents have  occurred over the years, and where several people lost their lives in a fatal car accident on Saturday August 19, 2017.

    According to a release jointly signed by the Mayor of Buea, Ekema Patrick Esunge, the Mayor of Muyuka, Nkeng Michael, the President of Fako Chiefs Conference and those of the Buea and Muyuka Chiefs Conference, the Ecumenical and cleansing Service will take place on Friday September 1st, 2017.

    The administrators call on the entire population of Fako division to take part in the Ecumenical Services, schedule to kick off at 9 am, to pray and cleanse the area at mile 29 where road accidents have been on the high in recent times.

    The event comes after a fatal road accident along the highway on Saturday August 19, 2017, which claimed the lives of at least 20 persons.
