    Actress, Erin Moran dies at 56

    US Actress Erin Moran, who was famous on TV from the late '60s to the mid-'80s and best known for her kid-sister role in the sitcom "Happy Days," has died, aged 56.

    The Harrison County Sheriff's Department said authorities in Indiana found her body on Saturday afternoon April 22nd after getting a 911 call at 4:07 p.m. for an unresponsive female. The cause is not yet known.
    In a statement released, the department said, 'upon the arrival, it was determined that the female was Erin Marie Moran-Fleischmann. First responders determined that she was deceased and an autopsy is pending'.
    Moran also starred in the show's spin-off series Joanie Loves Chachi, which began in 1982. She played Joanie Cunningham, the younger sister of lead character Richie.

    Richie was played by Ron Howard, who has been among those posting the first tributes online.
    Henry Winkler, who played The Fonz in the series, also shared condolences on Twitter.
    Moran joined the Happy Days cast in 1974 when she was 13.
    She also made appearances in Murder She Wrote and The Waltons.

    In recent years, she was reported to be living in an Indiana trailer park.
