As earlier reported; the Government of Cameroon signed a contract with Portuguese bus construction company; Irmaos Mota Trans Africa, in August 2016 for the provision of urban buses to Cameroon.
The Portuguese company would provide Cameroon with 150 ultramodern air-conditioned buses to be used in Yaounde and Limbe only.

The first batch of the buses, 43 of them, are now in circulation via transport company Stecy SA.
The start being operational on Monday 20th February.
A trip will cost 200frs.
