Nalova Lyonga tries another means to get students to school, by using census!

Vice Chancellor of The University of Buea; Dr Nalova Lyonga keeps trying to get students and lecturers of the University of Buea to resume classes, but to no avail.
As reported by The Post Weekender; Dr Nalova Lyonga has initiated a census to determine the number of students and lecturers that show up for classes.

She signed a statement saying that when students show up for classes, they should write their names and hand to the dean of the faculty, including the name of the lecturer, if he/she is present.

Also, if the lecturer meets an empty hall with no students, he/she should call the dean of the faculty to witness and record. Likewise if students come and find no lecturer, they should write their names down and hand over to the dean of the faculty acknowledging the absence of the lecturer.

Apparently, the census has yielded no fruits so far as there are still no classes in the University of Buea. The strike has been on-going for three months now, since November 21st.
