The Laquintinie hospital in Douala is notorious for rendering inadequate care to patients for some reasons which include limited facilities. HERE is a case study, which sparked a lot of controversy this year.

So to get involved and generate positive change; JUMP Africa, Medshare, Utopia group and Samuel Eto'o Foundation, provided medical supplies to Laquintinie hospital in Douala; Cameroon!

Samuel Eto'o has a wing in the Laquintinie hospital which he built and constantly supports.
This time he partnered with JUMP AfricaUtopia Group and Medshare to send medical supplies to improve the medical quality of the hospital, and cater to the people's needs. See photos below:

The shipment was made in December last year, and the medical supplies are now sitting in the Laquintinie hospital, ready for use, after Samuel Eto’o hosted a successful inauguration ceremony on Monday the 8th of May 2017 at his wing in the Laquinitinie hospital to install the medical supplies.

Meanwhile, JUMP Africa, has been busy! This year, they supported 49 schools in Kumbo, located in the Bui Division of the North West region of Cameroon. Right now, they are working on: supporting the “Word Alive Orphanage” in Ghana, supporting the “Treasure Center” in Bamenda, Cameroon (in which JUMP Africa recently did some Volunteer work), providing an updated library for “The Sound of silence school” (School for the Deaf in Buea; Cameroon), supporting the “Bulu blind center”(school for the blind in Buea; Cameroon) with Brail books, laptops and recorders.
So far, JUMP Africa, has shipped over 250,000 books to schools in four African countries; Cameroon, Nigeria, Ghana and Uganda, and is on track to send a million books, to support 500 learning centers all across Africa.
