The Catholic university Institute of Buea (CUIB) will not be participating in the 2017 all university games in Bamenda. The higher institution of learning pulled out of the games barely hours to the official launching of the highly awaited sporting jamboree. The institution has not put forth any official reason(s) for their withdrawal, and the games kick of today amidst speculations that the recent socio-political crisis in the North West and South West Regions of the country will warrant its cancellation this year.
